Stanley M Smyka, DDSDr. Stan Smyka has been practicing dentistry in Traverse City for over 30 years. Originally from the Detroit area, he graduated from the University Of Detroit School Of Dentistry. He also graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.
Dr. Smyka is a strong supporter of organized dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Resort District Dental Society.
Dr. Smyka believes in giving back to the community where he lives and works. He volunteers his time with the Munson Medical Center Oral Cleft Clinic and the Traverse Health Clinic where he mentors senior dental students from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry.
Dr. Smyka offers a large variety of dental procedures and is happy to work with patients of all ages.
In his free time, Dr. Smyka enjoys spending time with his wife Linda, and his extended family.

I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Smyka's full time assistant since 1995. I graduated from Northern Michigan College as a certified and registered dental assistant. I look forward to serving you in our caring and comfortable atmosphere.
Melynn
I am a dental hygienist for Dr. Smyka and have been an employee here for 17 years. There are not a lot of occupations where you can help people and have so much information at your fingertips. I graduated from Ferris State College and absolutely love my job.
Danielle
I graduated from Ferris State University as a dental hygienist and have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Smyka and his great staff since 2004. Meeting and working with all the new and existing patients has been a joy. I love educating patients about their dental needs.
